With over a decade of experience in residential childcare and various other roles including consultation to support accommodations providers. Phillip has built a robust skill set and gained an in-depth understanding of the challenges that young people face in today's society. Whether it's in children's homes, a secure unit, or as a qualified youth worker, Phillip has consistently demonstrated his dedication to guiding and supporting children and young people.

My experience in both the local authority and private sector has provided me with a well-rounded perspective, allowing me to adapt effectively to different operational contexts.

My career progression within the residential childcare sector has been a journey filled with growth and dedication. I started as a support worker and steadily advanced to senior positions, deputy manager, and registered manager. This trajectory underscores my leadership capabilities and unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children who have complex needs, learning disabilities, trauma, social, emotional, and mental health challenges. This diverse experience showcases my versatility and my ability to provide the necessary care and support for these children, regardless of their unique circumstances.

In terms of qualifications, I have achieved my Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. Additionally, I have a long-standing history of continuous professional development, including training to meet the evolving needs of the service we provide. This commitment to ongoing learning ensures that I stay up to date with best practices in the field.

Phillip has 1 young child. Phillip enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dog Henry and playing pool and snooker.
